Looking for Petra’s lost treasures
Petra is a famous archaeological site in Jordan's south western desert dating back to around 300 BC. It has been a Unesco World Heritage site since 1985 and excavations are continuing to throw up new discoveries about the lives of the Nabataean people who built the city.
