Gymnast pleas for leg amputation donations
A former gymnast has launched a crowd-funding page in a bid to get her leg amputated, to end her daily chronic pain.
Jessica Laughton, 22, who starred as a gymnast at school, has a condition called complex regional pain syndrome, which occurred while competing as a gymnast when she was 12 years-old.
She told 91Èȱ¬ 5 live Daily's Emma Barnett that she launched an appeal to raise the £10,000 because she can't get the life changing treatment on the NHS.
"It terrifies me but the other option is that I'm in this bed for the rest of my life and that terrifies me even more."
