A London-based sperm bank has launched a new app to allow users to pick donors on their smartphones.

The app includes details of the hair and eye colour of donors, as well as their race and qualifications. Users can even create a 'wish list' if the combination of traits they are looking for is not available.

Peter Bowens-Simpkins, the Medical Director at the London Women's Clinic and Sperm Bank, said patients are using the app to 鈥渓ook for the sort of person that would attract them鈥�.

Critics have likened it to the dating app Tinder and said it is trivializing fatherhood.
