How has Game of Thrones become so successful?
TV fantasy show Game of Thrones broke the record for the number of Emmy’s for a fictional series at last night’s awards. The HBO drama now has 38 Emmy Awards, eclipsing the previous record held by U.S sitcom Frasier.
Digital Spy’s TV editor Morgan Jeffrey is a Game of Thrones super-fan and believes the show has been able to tap into the mainstream because it incorporates “power, betrayal, drama and politics.”
“It’s like House of Cards with dragons,” he told 5 live Drive.
