Is it OK for white models to have dreadlocks?

Designer Marc Jacobs has been accused of 'cultural appropriation' after casting mainly white models to wear dreadlocks in his latest fashion show. In short, critics think he's pinched the look without appreciating its origin. Instagram heavyweights Kylie Jenner, Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus have all had similar styles. But is it alright to rock that look when you're white?
