Jumping blind
Lex Gillette won America's first medal at the Rio 2016 Paralympics with a silver in the men's T11 long jump competition. The world record holder was beaten to the gold by Brazilian Ricardo Costa de Oliviera.
After the medal ceremony, Gillette spoke to Sarah Mulkerrins and began by describing how his coach stands behind him on the track and guides him through the jump.
