The library label KPM created theme tunes for programmes including Grandstand, Grange Hill, the ITV News At Ten and Wimbledon.

Pete Cox, creative director of KPM for 30 years, and Dr Alan Hakwshaw, a composer at the label in the 1970s, discuss the process of making a hit.
