Authorities in several French towns have banned the wetsuit saying it's against 'good morals and secularism'. This issue is particularly sensitive in France, where the full face veils were banned in 2010, especially after recent terrorist attacks in the country. Photos have emerged of armed French police confronting a woman on a beach in Nice, making her remove a long-sleeved tunic that she was wearing. Are they any different though from wetsuits, diving suits or full-body sun safe swim suits that some people wear?
