Older man drives against motorway traffic
Police have released footage of a King's Lynn pensioner who has been banned from driving for two years after driving against the traffic for six miles on a motorway.
79-year-old Keith Taylor admitted the offence, which happened on the M23 in Sussex, and was sentenced last month. He will also have to take an extended driving test when his ban ends.
He pulled onto the hard shoulder before doing a u-turn and headed south on the northbound carriageway.
Police said that, despite oncoming headlights and other drivers swerving around him, Taylor carried on driving.
