The former Liberal Democrat leader Lord Ashdown, has launched a new movement, More United, to gather together some of the energy of liberal-minded pro-Europeans frustrated by today's politics.

Speaking to Andrew Marr, he said the movement "is a voice for the voiceless".

"There are millions... who want to make a difference without belonging to a political party," he said.
