Leanne Ferdani was delivering the post in Long Stratton earlier this year when she was bitten on the leg by a dog.

She needed medical treatment and now feels nervous when she encounters dogs on her round.

Royal Mail statistics show that attacks in Norwich have increased by 7% in the last year.

It has now launched a Dog Awareness Week to make owners aware of the risk.
