Dean Saunders: Managing Wales' Gareth Bale is easy
Former Wales coach Dean Saunders says Gareth Bale is a 'delight' to manage, despite being 'miles better' than the rest of the Welsh squad.
Saunders said: "Managing Gareth Bale is easy. My biggest job at Wales was trying to get him off the training pitch. I was scared to death of him injuring himself."
Saunders, who earned 75 caps for Wales, reveals that Bale is still 'one of the lads' on and off the training pitch. He said: "He [Bale] is not different. He'll be the first to organise the golf day and he'll be the first one calling out the questions in the quiz, he's just a proper human."
