Morgan and Javid on Conservative leadership race

Sajid Javid backs Stephen Crabb as leader nominee and Nicky Morgan on considering bid.

Nominations to be the next leader of the Conservative Party and therefore prime minister open today.

Work and Pensions Secretary Stephen Crabb has said he will be a candidate, running on a joint ticket with Business Secretary Sajid Javid, who would become his chancellor.

Mr Javid spoke to the programme, as did Education Secretary Nicky Morgan, who is herself considering a leadership bid.
