Lineker: England's problem is they care too much
Former England striker Gary Lineker believes the national team’s players care too much about representing their country, which is affecting their performances at major tournaments.
England were knocked out of Euro 2016 after losing 2-1 to Iceland on Monday.
Lineker said: "We have got some decent players. You cannot just say they are all useless - that is nonsense - and you cannot say they do not care, we saw how much they care against Wales.
“Our problem is there is too much passion. We care too much, we get a little bit tense, we are not technically good enough and we are not tactically good enough."
