Sturridge: Sterling among world’s best players
England teammate Daniel Sturridge says Manchester City's Raheem Sterling is one of the most talented players in the world.
Sterling was widely criticised after his performance against Wales and didn't play Slovakia in England's final group game of Euro 2016.
Sturridge said: "He's one of the most talented young players in the world and I think people don't realise he's 21 years-old.
"Someday he will become one of the best players in the world because he has all the tools for that."
Sterling and Sturridge were team-mates at Liverpool until the latter joined Manchester City in July 2015 for a fee of £49m.
England are preparing to face Iceland in Nice on Monday (20:00 BST).
