Eddie Jones on Euro 2016: The English are too negative
England head coach Eddie Jones believes there is too much pessimism surrounding England's chances at Euro 2016.
Roy Hodgson's side have reached the last 16 of the tournament, where they will face Iceland. But the team has been criticised after only winning one of their three group games.
"The English characteristic is probably to be more on the negative side," Jones said.
"It was interesting asking all the players how England was going to go in the European Championship - nearly every player said they are not going to do so well."
