Heavy rainfall disrupts rail services
Hundreds of Network Rail engineers have been out in force to pump water away from tracks and repair damage after heavy rain and flooding caused disruption to passengers.
Flooding at four stations in Essex meant it was unsafe to run trains through the affected area.
