Former England winger Chris Waddle says Roy Hodgson鈥檚 side lacked creativity in the 0-0 draw against Slovakia at Euro 2016.

The result meant England finished second in Group B behind Wales, who beat Russia 3-0.

鈥淲e knew they were just going to shut up shop and play for a draw but we just didn鈥檛 have enough craft,鈥� Waddle said.

鈥淚 can鈥檛 believe we took Sturridge off as he can open a door.

鈥淚 don鈥檛 get it, everything has to go down the middle,鈥� he added.
