England didn’t have 'any craft' v Slovakia – Waddle
Former England winger Chris Waddle says Roy Hodgson’s side lacked creativity in the 0-0 draw against Slovakia at Euro 2016.
The result meant England finished second in Group B behind Wales, who beat Russia 3-0.
“We knew they were just going to shut up shop and play for a draw but we just didn’t have enough craft,” Waddle said.
“I can’t believe we took Sturridge off as he can open a door.
“I don’t get it, everything has to go down the middle,” he added.
