"I've seen a better job done with a knife and fork"
Have you noticed that grass in Hull's verges has been getting longer recently?
Councillor Terry Keal who represents the Sutton ward for Hull City Council will be raising the issue at a full council meeting next week, he says that the Council needs to do more to cut the grass and pick up litter.
Hull City Council have told us...
"The Council works hard to maintain the city's grass verges however due to a combination of reduced resources, operational changes and the growing conditions we've had to make some necessary changes.
"We are undertaking measures to make improvements as soon as possible, and we are in the process of sourcing additional grass cutting equipment with the aim to increase our workforce temporarily and improve the image of the city."
