There is a black hole in our knowledge of women and girls around the world. Campaigners say females are often missing from official statistics - but what needs to be done?
Are countries around the world failing to collect adequate details about their female citizens? Campaigners have argued we are missing data in areas that would help us understand women鈥檚 lives better, for example land and inheritance rights. We also explore how women鈥檚 work can be overlooked in labour surveys.
