The American soul singer Freda Payne is coming to Leicester next month. Best known for her multi-million selling song "Band of Gold", Freda will be on stage as part of the 'David Guest is not dead but Alive with Soul' tour coming to De Montfort Hall in July. The tour will go on despite the death of the headline act earlier this year when David Guest died at the age of 63.

Historic England is asking the public to tell us more about these fascinating places - many of which are less than a mile away from our homes.

The legendary horror musical is coming to Leicester's Curve in July, with a stellar cast. Playing the role of Eddie, is a man who's big break came when he was part of S Club 7, who were known not only for their catchy pop songs, but also successful TV shows. Well since leaving the band, Paul Cattermole has been writing, singing and recording as a voiceover artist.
