A police investigation is under way in Luton after the death of a woman at a house in Overstone Road.
Bedfordshire Police say they were alerted by the ambulance service just after 23:30, after a woman suffered serious injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are treating the incident as suspicious. Officers from the Major Crime Unit are at the scene and the area remains cordoned off.
