Peter Doherty: Key of Life Interview with Mary Anne
Peter Doherty of The Libertines and Babyshambles joins Mary Anne for his first 6Music interview in many years. In this rare and intimate piece, he covers his childhood, making pretend radio shows, chasing record label bosses down the street, poetry, his love of London, football, typewriters and the future...
Peter Doherty formed The Libertines in 1997. They released three successful studio albums (Up the Bracket, The Libertines, Anthems for Doomed Youth) and quickly became one of the most influential bands of the 21st century.
This year, Peter embarks on a solo career - he released his first single 'The World Is Our Playground' for Record Store Day 2016.
