Magistrates in Great Yarmouth are being asked to serve an eviction notice on travellers camped on a seafront car park.

Several caravans moved onto the Marina Centre South car park on Friday, 13 May.

Great Yarmouth Borough Council says it has covered up the car park ticket machine until the travellers are dispersed.

A spokesman says the council expects the car park to be cleared by the end of Monday, 16 May if the eviction order is granted.
