'Data doesn't support' weekend NHS fears

As a hospital patient are you more likely to die at the weekend than during the week?

Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt has said that patients admitted on a Sunday have a higher chance of dying than if admitted on a Wednesday when he explained why he wanted to change the contracts of junior doctors.

Peter Rothwell, professor of neurology at Oxford University disputed the claim.
