Sadiq Khan 'is not an extremist'

London Mayoral candidate Zac Goldsmith on anti-Semitism in Labour & a green capital city

London votes in less than a week for a new mayor. It has been a brutal campaign between the two front runners the Conservative's Zac Goldsmith and Labour's Sadiq Khan.

Mr Goldsmith does not think that the Labour Party have handled allegations of anti-Semitism well:

"The Labour Party has attempted to close down what are clearly legitimate questions by being casual in their accusations of racism", he told John Humphrys.

He also spoke about how he would carry out his promise for a greener London:

"I have committed that every bus in London will either be electric or ultra-low emission zone compliant. I want to create a greater London wide green car club...I believe that within four years our buses, our taxis will be at the top, at the highest possible standards."
