Bedford bypass officially opened

The Bedford bypass is officially open, after 50 years of planning and at a cost of more than 拢18m.
Mayor Dave Hodgson cut the ribbon to open the road, which links the A4280 with the A6, and a selection of classic cars were the first to drive on the carriageway.
