Reaction from Cobblers fans to the probable departure of manager Chris Wilder and his assistant Alan Knill from Sixfields. Wilder and Knill are in talks with Charlton Athletic, after being given permission to talk to the London club.

Northampton Borough Council consider proposals for private hire taxi drivers in Northampton to take a tougher knowledge test of the twon than they do now. Other suggestions include a series of new taxi ranks, a clamp down on private hire vehicles "passing themselves off" as Hackney taxis, marshals at ranks during busy periods, and a publicity campaign to educate the public on the difference between a Hackney carriage and a private hire cab.
