CARDIFF CITY WEEKLY 25th APRIL 2016

After a dramatic weekend victory, a preview of the trip to Hillsborough with Dave Jones.

It was a dramatic day at the Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday. After falling behind in the first half to lowly Bolton Wanderers, a Kenneth Zohore equaliser looked like it wasn’t going to be enough to keep Cardiff’s playoff hopes alive, until a penalty in the 94th minute by Peter Whittingham means the fight goes on to a titanic penultimate game of the season away to Sheffield Wednesday. Wednesday are five points ahead of Cardiff and occupy the last playoff spot, and victory for the Welsh side would take it all the way to the final game of the season. Defeat spells the end of all promotion aspirations for another season. We have all the reaction to the Bolton game, and look ahead to Saturday with manager Russell Slade and defender Sean Morrison, whilst fans have their say on the phone-in ‘Call Rob’. We also hear from former Cardiff City manager Dave Jones, who managed The Bluebirds to the playoff final in 2010, on who he thinks will win on Saturday and go forth into the playoffs.
