Bishop joins pastors on patrol
The Right Reverend Mike Harrison, the Bishop of Dunwich, has been out patrolling the streets of Ipswich with the local town pastors.
The pastors, who are volunteers from local churches, provide help and support to people who get into difficulties at night over weekends.
Problems they encounter can be an over-indulgence of alcohol or drugs, people who lose contact with their friends or lose their money.
Bishop Harrison said he found the pastors offer a service that is "going the extra mile" and "shattering some of the caricatures" about Christianity.
