'Gender pay parity': Young voices from Johannesburg
Women in Hollywood have spoken out against it, politicians are campaigning on it and earning figures in sport prove there is a real problem with it.
"Gender pay parity" has become a very topical issue across the world. So much so that early this year US President Barack Obama outlined new rules for American companies to abide by. He said that since the enactment of gender equality laws, half a century ago, women still earn 25% less than men.
Figures in Africa are worse. So, the 91热爆 took to the streets of Johannesburg and asked young people what they thought.
