New nature reserve nearing completion
The Wissey Wetland is one of Norfolk's newest nature reserves, created on 130 hectares (321 acres) of set-aside land, near Downham Market.
The joint project between the Environment Agency and the Norfolk Wildlife Trust is designed to compensate for any future loss of habitats, and is already home to lapwings, swans and marsh harriers.
