Running an Ethiopian fashion label
Bold prints and ethnic designs are often the things that set African fashion apart from the rest of world.
Drawing on Ethiopia's multicultural heritage, Sara Abera - a fashion designer in Addis Ababa - created a label called Muya Ethiopia. Muya means "talent" and through her business she showcases the talent of local weavers, potters and artisans who have been making fabric and ornaments the same way their ancestors did over six generations.
