On the Weather Show this week, Paul Hudson surrounds himself with women scientists. You may think there are plenty of weather girls around but, until fairly recently, the big names were forecasters Bill Giles, Bert Foord, Ian McCaskill and Michael Fish. Paul looks forward to Soapbox Science, which gets women into meteorology - and talks to his Look North colleague Kay Crewdson who took an alternative route to forecasting. Plus Emma Boorman from the Met Office, talking about what the weather should be like in April - and our Mexborough Weatherwatcher who is looking forward to the Tour de Yorkshire.
