The leak of the so called Panama Papers has put tax evasion at the top of the international agenda by disclosing how rich people use shell companies to avoid financial obligations. Markus Meinzer, from the Berlin based Tax Justice Network tells us the pledge for joint co-operation does not go far enough.
Among the names listed in the 11 million documents leaked from the law firm Mossack Fonseca was Spain's acting minister for industry, Jose Manuel Soria, who initially denied wrongdoing amid allegations of involvement in shell companies, but today he stepped down.
