Cap removed from Broads windpump
A year-long project to restore Horsey windpump, near Martham, reached a dramatic point in the restoration on Wednesday as the cap was removed.
A 60-tonne crane removed the rotten wooden structure from its home on the Norfolk Broads - it will be taken to a millwright's workshop in Suffolk for repair.
The National Trust is putting 拢244,000 towards the project which will restore the 104-year-old pump to full working order.
The sails were removed as part of the project two years ago.
