Council should 'look at' libraries rather than children's centres
Julie Kitson, who's responsible for the Woodnewton children's centre in Corby says the county council should "look at" libraries rather than close children's centres.
The county council says he needs to save 拢3m from the 拢10m children's centre budget and plans to close eight and movie nine to libraries but significant cuts to others, with services reduced.
A consultation on the plan runs until April 28 and the council says it won't comment until the that consultation has finished.
