Farmer saves lamb with kiss of life
A farmer has spoken of the "extraordinary experience" of saving a lamb's life by giving it the kiss of life.
Stephen Cobbald of Acton Hall near Sudbury in Suffolk was checking his flock late on Tuesday evening when he found the ewe was lying on top of the lamb and it had stopped breathing.
He gave about five repeat cycles of kiss of life and massaging its heart.
He said: "After about five mintues, blow me if he didn't pick his head up and he's now running around the yard like nothing happened to him."
He said he had only previously given a lamb a kiss of life before.
