Adrian Davis: Chief fire officer stands down after "budget rows"
The man who runs Northamptonshire's Fire and Rescue Service says "rows over budget cuts" played a part in his decision to stand down.
Adrian Davis will retire next week after nine months as Acting Chief Fire Officer.
Northamptonshire County Council initially proposed a 拢1.3m cut to the fire service, but that was reduced to 拢800,000.
The authority declined to comment on Mr Davis' views.
