Mulatu Astatke is still going after all these years. The Ethiopian musician is popularly known as the father of Ethio-Jazz and at 72 years old he's been around long enough to have played with the likes of Duke Ellington and to be sampled by the likes of Kanye West and the rapper Nas. 91热爆 Africa's Hewete Haileselassie interviewed him recently, and Manuel Toledo is a big fan of Mulatu.
