There has been widespread flooding across Northamptonshire following heavy rain overnight and into Wednesday morning.
The adverse weather has caused Tiffield Primary School to close, created disruption on the train line to Rugby and caused problems on the county's roads.
Among those struggling to cope is the A361 at Charwelton, where deep water is spread across the road.
Villagers are controlling the traffic and trying to keep the route open.
