UK women spend double the time on childcare as men
Journalist and mother of two Lauren Hampshire and Overseas Development Institute director of Poverty and Inequality, Claire Melamed discussed childcare.
Women in the UK spend more than double the amount of time looking after children than men do, found a study by the Overseas Development Institute (ODI)
The global study found that the most unequal country was Ireland where only seven percent of childcare was undertaken by men.
Journalist and vlogger Lauren Hampshire, a mother of two girls said "maybe there should be more men talking about childcare issues, we should maybe have more men at home with the children".
ODI's Director of Poverty and Inequality, Claire Melamed, said "this is all about choices".
