Robin is a robot programmed to act like a toddler and show symptoms of diabetes so that when children with the condition are playing with him they learn about his symptoms and how to treat them.

It is hoped the robot, developed by professors at the University of Hertfordshire, will be able to work with children to teach them how to manage their condition.
