Syria conflict: Is diplomacy effective?
Former US deputy assistant secretary for defence Evelyn Farkas spoke on the programme about the West's next move in the Syria crisis.
The Islamic State group says it carried out bomb attacks in the Syrian capital Damascus and the city of Homs, which left at least 140 people dead, whilst President Assad has continued to gain territory with the support of Russian air power.
