Should all children be vaccinated against meningitis?

Dr Nelly Ninis, paediatric consultant at St Mary's Hospital Paddington, discusses the call for all children to be vaccinated against meningitis.

The photograph of two year old Faye Burdett in her hospital bed shortly before she died - her body almost entirely covered with a rash caused by meningitis - has sparked an immense reaction. Nearly 400 thousand people have signed a petition calling for all children to be vaccinated.

Paediatric consultant at St Mary's Hospital Paddington and advisor to the Meningitis Research Foundation Dr Nelly Ninis spoke on the Today programme about the issue of vaccination.
