Paul celebrates the birthday this week of Jimmy Fortune of The Statler Brothers by playing the group鈥檚 1983 country hit 鈥楨lizabeth鈥�.

鈥楾he Other Number Ones鈥� are records that reached the top of the American chart in Cash Box magazine, but not in the Hot 100 of the other US chart publication Billboard. This show鈥檚 examples are country records by Darrell Glenn and Linda Ronstadt. Country number ones from this week in history are featured by Johnny Cash (鈥楧on鈥檛 Take Your Guns To Town鈥� from 1959) and Randy Travis (鈥楬ard Rock Bottom Of Your Heart鈥� from 1990).
