Guardiola almost became a Manchester City player
Former Manchester City manager Stuart Pearce reveals he turned down the chance to sign Pep Guardiola when the Spaniard was looking for a club as a player.
Guardiola was looking for a club following a spell as a player in the Middle East.
Pearce said the future City manager spent "two or three days training" with the club, but did not sign a permanent deal.
He went on to manage Barcelona and Bayern Munich, winning two Champions League titles. He has agreed a three-year contract to become Manchester City manager in the summer.
