Concerns over decommissioned weapons law changes

Museum owners, countryside campaigners and historical re-enactment societies say they are alarmed at a plan by the European Commission to change the law on firearms.

The move is in response to the recent terror attacks in France after it emerged weapons involved in the massacre were supposed to have been decommissioned.

Norfolk historian Richard Knight is concerned that a ban on decommissioned weapons could prevent him from doing his job.
