How 'condom man' gives safe sex message in barber shops
Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham outreach worker Talib has been using barber shops as a 鈥済ateway鈥 to speak with 鈥渉ard to reach members of the community" about safe sex.
Known as 鈥渃ondom man,鈥 once or twice a week Talib hands out condoms to people in the salon; who may not otherwise buy contraception from a chemist.
He told 5 live: 鈥淭here鈥檚 still a high rate of STI鈥檚. This is just one part of a step towards making a difference鈥.
