A family from Dunstable had a lucky escape after a car ended up in their living room. Just 15 minutes before, the children had been playing video games on the sofa.

Emergency services were called just before 16:00 yesterday to the property near the Halfway House pub on Luton Road.

The car had crossed the central reservation and hit another car before colliding into the front of the house.
